A company-wide Skills Assessment isn't just beneficial for Admins and Managers to identify any Skills gaps that need filling with relevant training material and support - it is also beneficial for your end learners!
The more Skills they add, the more personalised their learning experience will be π
How to create a company-wide Skills Assessment:
Firstly, create a Course and tag it as a @Must Do under the Channel section in Step 1. In the Course Editor, add three sections:
In section 1, have a Lesson called 'Add your Skills' with our support article How to add a Skill to your Profile added via Existing Content. Then have an Assessment "Check-in", a multiple-choice question asking if they have added all their Skills.
In section 2, have a Lesson called 'Ask your Manager for an Endorsement' with our support article How to request a Skill Endorsement added via Existing Content. Then have an Assessment "Check-in", a multiple-choice question asking if they have requested an Endorsement for all their Skills.
In section 3, have a Lesson called '[For Managers] How to respond to an Endorsement request' with our support article Understanding your Tasks page added via Existing Content.
Then Save & Continue to the Assign Learners step. Assign it to Everyone or use our Custom Rules to target your audience.
Save & Continue to the Release & Deadline section. Here you can
Add a Deadline if you want to add an element of urgency.
You can also set it to Recur on a Monthly, Quarterly, Annually or Custom basis.
