Go to Settings › Profile › Preferences and pick a Platform language; choose Light, Dark or System from the Theme options in your profile menu.
Choose the language HowNow's menus and messages appear in, and whether it uses light or dark mode. These settings only affect you.
Change your language
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Settings. Your Profile settings open.
Scroll down to Preferences.
Open Platform language and choose your language. It saves as soon as you pici.
(Optional) In Content languages, choose up to four other languages you're happy to learn in. These set the default language filter when you browse content libraries, and can't include your platform language.
Menus, labels and system messages now appear in the language you chose.
Switch between light and dark mode
Select your name at the bottom of the side panel.
Next to Theme, select the sun for light mode, the moon for dark mode, or the half-filled circle to follow your device's setting.
HowNow switches to the theme you chose. You can also set it in Settings › Profile › Preferences: turn on Use system default theme to match your device, or select Light Mode or Dark Mode, which turns that setting off.
Good to know
Your language and theme are saved to your account, so they follow you to other browsers and devices.
When you first sign in, your language is your workspace's default, which an Admin sets.
The sign-in page always uses the workspace's set language, and not the one chosen by yourself via your Profile.
