Space insights show whether members are taking part: who's posting, which resources get opened, how far people are through the path and how events are booked.
Before you start
You need to be an owner or moderator of the Space. Members don't see View Insights.
Open insights
Open the Space from Spaces in the sidebar.
In the Space header, select View Insights (the chart icon next to the settings cog).
Read Active Members at the top, then select Feed, Resources, Path or Events for the detail on each tab.
The panel only shows tabs that are switched on for the Space. If you hide the Path tab, for example, its insights are hidden too.
What the figures mean
Figure | What it counts |
Active Members | Current members who did anything in the Space: posted, commented or reacted, opened or made progress on a resource or path item, or booked an event. |
Contributors: Active | Members with 10 or more posts. |
Contributors: Occasional | Members with 1 to 9 posts. |
Contributors: Lurking | Members who've visited the feed but never posted. |
Path: Completed / In progress / Not started | The share of members who've finished every path item, finished some, or none. |
Good to know
To see the latest figures, close and reopen View Insights.
Some figures include people who've left. Where that applies, an info icon says Includes people no longer in this Space. Active Members only counts current members.
Contributors only appear once someone posts. Until then, the Feed panel shows No posts yet, even if members have been reading.
For workspace-wide reporting, use Insights in the sidebar. Space insights only cover one Space.
