Adding a video is simple and we demonstrate this in our tutorial:

  1. When creating a Course or Nugget, select the Video icon.

  2. In the pop-up, paste your YouTube or Vimeo video's URL, or upload from your computer.

Note ✨: The maximum size of a video file is 7GB. If possible, upload your video in two parts (also a great micro-learning approach).

3. Click Save to confirm

4. Click Save & Continue (for Course), or Publish (for Nugget) to set live.

Take a look at our video tutorial below.

Note✨: Although uncommon, when previewing your uploaded video, there may be some videos that have audio that plays out-of-sync. This is due to our provider Wistia needing to optimise uploaded videos. However, don't worry - as this simply means...

  • The optimisation just needs a few minutes to sync audio and video.

  • The time taken for the process to be done, depends on the size of the video.

Troubleshooting a video upload

To make sure your video uploads smoothly - please make sure it fits the below parameters (most of these will be the default settings but always worth checking).

  1. File Type: MP4 (recommended)

  2. Codec: h.264/AVC (required)

  3. Resolution: between 640px and 3840px wide

  4. Bitrate: 5,000–8,000 kbps (recommended) This changes based on video resolution

  5. Framerate: constant, 15–60 frames per second

  6. Aspect Ratio: We accept videos of any aspect ratio, but wider = higher quality
