You can quickly embed Microsoft Office forms or Google Form into your Lesson or Nugget, with a few clicks. The steps outlined below, will be the same regardless of which platform you use:
Copy your form's embed code from the platform
Paste it into the Embed Code box
Publish your Nugget or Lesson
However, using Google Forms as an example...
First, ensure that your form is published, to make it available to your Users. The embedding function doesn't work if there is no content to reveal!
Once live, select the three-dot menu and choose Embed HTML.
A pop-up will appear allowing you to make edits to the embed code HTML, such as dimensions, but this usually won't be necessary, as the form will be automatically set to HowNow's parameters (so it fits nicely in the Nugget/Lesson).
Select Copy and head over to HowNow.
Within the Nugget/Lesson editor, open the Embed Code content type. This will allow you to paste your embed code, and select Save.
From here, you'll get an idea of how the form will appear, and can select options, and type in the fields, as an example - although you can get a sense of exactly what Users will see, by using the Preview Mode.
Once done, you are ready to publish your content, so all assigned Users will be able to complete the form, with their answers automatically tracked from HowNow, to Google Forms (or Microsoft).
