There are different ways to use Single Sign-On, to access your HowNow workspace. If your organisation has SSO integrated, then the following steps will apply to whichever has been put in place...
Google SSO
The Google account you sign in with, should match the work email address you have used for the workspace. Select the Sign in with Google - this will instantly take you directly to the Home page.
You won't need to enter any details into the Password or Work Email fields.
Good to know
The error message: "An error occurred while logging you in", means that the Google account being used to attempt to log in, doesn't match the workspace email address. Check with your Admin and not HowNow, as you may not have been invited by the Admin.
Users who already have a Google account in the organisation, who attempt to log in using SSO, will be given access, but with a Read Only level.
The button comes from Google itself. If it's missing despite Google SSO being activated, then this is possibly caused by:
An ad blocker
A privacy extension
The company network blocking the process
Try another browser or turn off the extension for HowNow.
You can also use Sign in with Google on the Sign up to page when you accept an invitation. You then won't need a HowNow password.
Other Sign-in Options: Company sign-in (Microsoft/Okta/JumpCloud ,etc.)
Apart from the Google option, you may need to use accounts such as Microsoft, JumpCloud or Okta, among others.
The steps remain the same: select the button present, and complete the sign-in process, as long as your email addresses match between your provider an HowNow.
You'll be returned to Home page, but remember...Your organisation must give you access to HowNow in its own sign-in system. If it doesn't, please ask your IT team, first.
Good to know
Each workspace has one company sign-in option.
Some workspaces also show Work Email and Password fields below, or, use them only if your admin has given you a HowNow password.
Workspaces that use Single Sign-On usually don't show Forgot Password?, because there's no HowNow password to reset. If you've forgotten your work password, please ask your IT team.
Depending on your organisation's setup, your first sign-in may create your HowNow account automatically.
