In Settings › Profile, select Upload Image (or Change), choose a JPEG or PNG up to 15 MB or an Unsplash photo, crop it and select Upload. Select Remove to go back to your initials.
Add or change your photo
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Settings. Profile opens.
Under Your Details, select Upload Image next to your initials. If you already have a photo, the button says Change.
Choose where the photo comes from:
Upload: select Choose files, or drag a file into the box. It must be a JPEG or PNG, up to 15 MB and at least 200 × 200 pixels. A square photo of 400 × 400 pixels or more gives the sharpest result.
From Unsplash: search the free photo library and pick an image if you'd rather not use a photo of yourself.
Drag and resize the square frame so your face is centred, and check the Preview. Select Reset to start the crop again, or Upload another image to pick a different file. Your photo is shown as a circle.
Select Upload.
Your new photo appears on your profile and next to your name across HowNow.
Remove your photo
Go to Settings › Profile.
Select Remove next to your photo.
Your initials show instead. This also clears an Unsplash image if you'd chosen one. You can upload a photo again at any time.
