Create a Space to give a team, project or cohort one place for posts, shared resources, a learning path and events.
Before you start
Anyone with Admin, Manager or Contributor access can create a Space. People with Read Only access don't see the +.
Create the Space
In the sidebar, select the + next to the Spaces heading. Create a New Space opens on General.
Enter a Space Name (up to 150 characters) and an optional Description (up to 400).
Under Permissions, choose who can get in:
Private (the default): only people you or another owner or moderator add.
Public: anyone in your workspace can find it in Search and join.
Under Upload Cover, add an image. Choose Upload for your own PNG or JPEG (up to 10 MB), or From Unsplash to pick a free photo, then crop it to fit.
Optional: on Tabs, rename, reorder or switch off tabs. All four (Feed, Resources, Path and Events) are on by default.
Optional: on Smart Features, turn on Curate with AI to have resources suggested from the Space's topics.
Optional: on Members, select Add Members and choose people and their roles. You can also do this later.
Select Create Space.
The new Space opens, and it's added to Spaces in your sidebar. You're its owner.
Good to know
You're a permanent owner. As the creator, you can't be removed, your role can't be changed, and you can't leave the Space. You can add other owners.
Everything is editable later in the Space's settings, including Permissions.
