The thumbnail is the image on content cards wherever people browse and search. The header is the wide banner at the top of the content's page.
Add a thumbnail
Open the thumbnail picker:
Course or SCORM course: in Course Information (or Information), select the pencil on Thumbnail, then Update.
Nugget: select Settings, then the pencil on the Preview card.
In Add Image, choose one:
Your own image: drop a PNG, JPG or GIF (up to 25 MB) onto the box, or click it to choose one. In Thumbnail, drag the crop box over the part to show, then select Save.
A gallery photo: under Or choose from our gallery, type a word in Search Images (for example "supermarket queue"), press Enter and select a photo. It's applied straight away, with no crop step.
The new image shows on the thumbnail preview, which is how the card will look to learners.
Tip: Use an image at least 640 × 360 pixels. The crop box for your own images is a widescreen (16:9) shape, so anything near the top or bottom edges of a tall photo is cut off.
To take the image off, select the pencil, then Remove.
Change the header banner
Select Edit header at the top of the course or nugget page. It opens the same Add Image picker. Use a wide image, at least 1440 × 600 pixels, because the header crop box is much wider than the thumbnail's.
Pathways
Pathways use a different picker. In the pathway editor, select Add Cover, then From Unsplash to search for a photo, or Upload for your own PNG or JPEG.
