Notifications tell you what's changed: new content, assignments, replies and team activity. You can find these via your notification bell icon, at the bottom of your side panel, next to your name.

See your notifications

  1. A red dot on the bell means you have unread notifications. Notifications opens, newest first and grouped by day. Unread ones have a red dot beside them.

  2. Select a notification to open the item it's about, such as a course, a request or a skill review in your Inbox. The notification is marked as read.

Clear unread notifications

  • To see only the ones you haven't read, turn on the "Show [25] Unread" toggle button at the top right.

  • To mark everything as read at once, select Mark All as Read. This can't be undone.

Good to know

  • A few notifications don't link anywhere, for example when a Skill review request is cancelled because the skill was removed from your profile. Selecting one marks it as read but doesn't open anything.

  • Notifications are updates. Things you need to act on, such as Learning Budget Approvals and skill reviews, also appear in your Inbox.

  • To choose whether you also get these updates by email or Slack, go to Settings › Notifications.
