Some assessment questions ask you to upload a file, such as a completed form, a photo of your work or a short video. A person marks these answers.
Upload your answer
On the upload question, drop your file into the box that says Drag and drop a file here or click, or select the box to choose a file.
Note
The box doesn't show which file type it accepts, so check the question wording. If your file is rejected, the error names the accepted type.
Select the arrow in the question card to save your answer, or Save & Finish if it's the last question.
Your file goes to your marker with the rest of your answers when you submit. To swap it before then, select Remove and add the new one.
Which files are accepted
The author picks one file type for each question. Each file can be up to 25 MB.
The question asks for | Accepted file types |
Image | .jpg, .jpeg, .png |
Video | .mp4, .mkv, .flv, .avi, .mov |
Audio | .mp3, .ogg, .wav |
Document (Word, Excel or PowerPoint) | .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx |
If your file isn't accepted
The box turns red and shows Sorry wrong extension or file size, with the reason: for example The file is not allowed (pdf only), or The file size is too big (25M max). Save the file in an accepted format, or make it smaller, then add it again.
Good to know
You can upload one file per question. To send several, combine them first, for example into one PDF.
You can move on without adding a file, and there's no warning. Your answer then shows Not Uploaded and scores zero.
After marking, you can download your file from your results. See See your assessment result and feedback.
