Before you start
If you don't see Log Learning, your workspace has it switched off. Ask your admin.
Log your learning
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select My Profile.
Under History, select View All History.
Select Log Learning.
Choose the type of learning: CPD, Course, Qualification, Book, Podcast, Coaching, Mentoring, Workshop or Event. Then select Add Details.
Fill in the required fields, marked with an asterisk (*). They depend on the type: for a course, you need the title, provider, duration, time spent and Date Completed. You can't choose a completion date in the future.
(Optional) Add an Expiry Date for learning that needs renewing, such as a first-aid certificate, and attach a certificate under Supporting Evidence. Books and podcasts don't have these fields.
Select Log followed by the type, for example Log Course.
Rate how useful it was and write your key takeaways, then select Submit. You need both to submit, or select Skip.
Your entry now appears first in My Profile › History, with its completion date, duration and provider.

Time Spent fills in from the duration. Change it if you spent more or less time.
If you log something with exactly the same details as an existing entry, you'll see Already Logged. Change a detail or edit the original.
The confirmation message mentions a history tab in Learn. Your logged learning is in My Profile › History.
