Review, edit or delete logged learning

Learning that people log themselves, or that's logged for them, is listed in Manage › Learning with the source Logged. From there you can see who has it, correct one person's record, add people or remove it.

Before you start

You need Admin or Manager access. Managers find logged learning on the My Groups and My Team tabs, for the people in their groups or team, and only see those people's records. Learning you logged yourself is there too, not on My Learning.

See who has it

  1. In the sidebar, select Manage › Learning (Managers: the My Groups or My Team tab) and search for the title. Logged items show Logged under Source and Content Status.

  2. Select ... on its row, then View Learning Activity. The page opens in a new browser tab.

Each row shows the person, who logged it (Logged By), and their own Completion Date and Time Spent. To see one person's full record, select three-dot menu on their row, then View Details.

Correct one person's record

  1. Select ... on their row, then Edit Log.

  2. Change their Time Spent or add Supporting Evidence. The activity's own details, such as the title and provider, can't be changed here.

  3. Select Update Log.

Note: The user is notified that you changed their record.

  4. Select Update Log again to confirm.

Add more people

On the item's View Learning Activity page, select Add Learners. It opens the same flow as logging learning, for this activity.

Delete it

  • One person's record: select ... on their row, then Delete, and confirm with Delete Log. Their dates, time spent and evidence are removed; no one else's record changes.

  • The whole item (Admins only): in Manage › Learning, select ... on its row, then Delete, and confirm with Yes, Delete.

Warning: Deleting either is permanent. Deleting the whole item removes every person's record of completing it.

Good to know

  • Deleting the last person's record doesn't delete the item. It stays in Manage › Learning with no learners until an Admin deletes it.

  • View Log Details on the item's menu shows the activity's own details, such as title, provider and duration.

  • People can edit or delete learning they logged themselves.
