Onboarding to your organisation's workspace, is quick and hassle-free, allowing you to get started on that all important learning journey!

Whether a new starter or an existing team member, using a learning platform for the first time, the following steps will give an overview of how to setup your learning environment and login.

Welcome Email

Your Manager (or the workspace Owner) will have sent out a Welcome email, featuring a 'Take me there' link to complete the log in process and enter your workspace.

This text link will be valid for 72 hours. Click the text link to reach the first page in the 3-step sign-up process.

Filling out the onboarding fields

The first step requires basic information, such as your name and password choice. You may have your Job Title already filled out for you by your Manager, which will mean the field is not editable.

Don't forgot to select the Terms of Service button, which will activate the Captcha box and complete the mini-task (this is a security requirement, to ensure humans are signing-up and not malicious internet bots!).

Step 2 will show a range of common Skills, available for you to add to your Skills Profile.

Whether directly relevant to your Job Role, or a Skill you'd like to learn in the future, add it now and have the freedom to remove it later at any time.

The Skills pop-up will appear for each Skill you select - allowing you to add a Level you believe best reflects your understanding of that Skill.

Noteโœจ: The onboarding experience previously included a Channel step, making it a 4-step process, however the Channel portion has been revoked to provide quicker onboarding.

The final step showcases the HowNow mobile app. This is available to you for download on iOS and Android - a suitable option for Users who prefer to learn on-the-go, at any time. This page is a reminder of HowNow's drive to help you learn, regardless of via which device you learn best!
