You can assign Users to content, using one of three quick options:

  • Assigning by individual

  • Assigning by Group

  • Assigning using a Custom Rule

Let's take a look at each of these, below.

For a Course, SCORM Course, Event, Live Class or Webinar

1. Open your content editor, and select the Assign Learners step.

2. Click the Share with People or Group field to activate the drop-down list

3. Search for the name of your User(s) or Group(s), selecting the corresponding icons for either. You can also apply Custom Rules: How to use Custom Rules to create effective learning pathways.

4. Click Save Draft or Save & Continue

For a Nugget

1. Select the Settings button from within your Nugget editor

2. Scroll down to the share with People or Group section.

3. Search for the name of your User(s) or Group(s), selecting the corresponding icons for either. You can also apply Custom Rules: How to use Custom Rules to create effective learning pathways.

4. Click Save as Draft or Publish to ensure your selected Users are assigned.

Note ✨: there are two points to be aware of when assigning content...

  • By default, Everyone across the organisation will be assigned to the content. You can remove this option if required.

  • Users who've Never Logged In, can still be assigned to content, however:

    • If they're assigned to content on 1 January, but onboard on 12 January, the assignment date will still be 1 January.

    • If there is a Deadline date set for 12 January, and the User onboards after this date, they will see the Course as Overdue.
