Some assessments let you choose who marks your answers, for example your own store manager. You're only asked if the author has turned this on.

After Save & Finish, pick a name in Select your marker for the assessment (or leave it blank to notify every marker) and select Submit; you can't change it afterwards.

Choose your marker

  1. Answer every question, then select Save & Finish on the last one.

  2. In Select your marker for the assessment, choose a name from the list. Leave it blank if anyone on the list can mark it.

Select your marker for the assessment, with the marker list highlighted

  3. Select Submit.

Remember❗: You can't change your marker after you submit, even if they're away. If they can't mark it, contact the course author.

Your attempt shows Pending under Your Attempts until it's marked.

Who gets notified

  • If you chose someone: they're asked to mark your submission.

  • If you left it blank: everyone on the author's marker list is asked, and whoever gets to it first marks it. It then leaves everyone else's Inbox.

  • Either way, the course author is also told about your submission and can mark it.

Good to know

  • The list only shows the markers the author added. If the person you want isn't there, choose someone else or leave it blank.

  • If you close the dialog with ×, your assessment isn't submitted yet. Select Save & Finish again when you're ready.

  • On a timed assessment, the Time's Up! message asks you to choose a marker if time runs out.

  • Each retake is a new attempt, so you choose a marker again.
