When a colleague asks you to rate one of their skills, you get a Skill Review task in your Inbox. Your rating feeds straight into their skill level.
Open the Skill Review task in your Inbox, choose a level from 1 to 5, select Submit Review and confirm. Your colleague is notified with the level you gave.
Give your review
In the sidebar, select Inbox. You can also select Give Review in the request email, which opens the task directly, and skip the next step.
Open the Skill Review task with the skill's name.
Under How would you rate them on this Skill?, select a level from 1 to 5. Pick the one whose description matches what you've seen them do.
Select Submit Review.
Check the level in the confirmation, for example "You are rating Sam at Level 4 - Proficient.", then select Submit.
Remember: You can't change or withdraw a review once it's submitted. Your colleague is notified straight away with the level you gave.
You'll see Request submitted and moved to history. The task moves to History, where it shows as Reviewed with your Skill Rating.
Good to know
How your review is labelled: if you have Admin or Manager access, your rating appears under Manager Reviews on their skill. If you have Contributor access, it appears under Peer Reviews.
Only your latest rating counts. If they ask again and you rate them again, your new rating replaces your old one in their average.
A task can disappear if they remove the skill from their profile or the skill is removed from the workspace. The Give Review link in the email then shows Page not found.
People with Read Only access can't be asked for skill reviews.
