Open a budget to see how much is left, who can spend it and which requests are charged to it.
Before you start
You need Admin access, or Manager access. Managers see only the budgets they own.
Find the budget
In the sidebar, select Manage › Budgets.
If the list is long, search by the budget's name or filter it, for example by Groups or Remaining Balance.
Open its details
The Budget opens in a new browser tab, so your search and filters stay as they were in the first tab.
What the details page shows
Amount per Member: what each person can spend per cycle.
Total Budget Amount: the amount per member multiplied by the current number of members. For example, GBP 250 with 7 members is GBP 1,750.
Remaining Balance: what's left across all members. Large amounts are shortened, so GBP 1,750 can show as "GBP 1k". Only approved requests reduce it; pending requests don't.
Members and Requests: a preview of each. Select View All Members or View All Requests for the full list, where owners can also approve or decline requests.
Export your budgets
To get a spreadsheet, tick one or more budgets in Manage › Budgets and select Export CSV in the bar at the bottom. You'll see Exporting CSV, and a download link is emailed to you when the file is ready.
Good to know
Each member has their own balance. The budget's total is the sum of them, so one person spending their allowance doesn't reduce what anyone else can request.
Managers can't open budgets they don't own. A link to someone else's budget shows a "Page not found" page, even though the budget exists.
