Leave a Space when you no longer want to follow its posts and updates.
Open the Space, select Joined, then Yes, Leave. You can rejoin a public Space at any time, but an owner or moderator has to add you back to a private one.
Before you start
Owners (the creator of the Space) and moderators can't leave: their Joined button is greyed out. Ask an owner to change your role to member first.
Leave the Space
Open the Space from Spaces in the sidebar.
Select Joined, next to the Space's name.
In Leave This Space?, select Yes, Leave.
Remember❗: If the Space is private, you lose access to its posts, files and discussions straight away. Only an owner or moderator can add you back.
The button changes to Join, and the Space disappears from Spaces in your sidebar.
Good to know
Rejoining a public Space: open it again and select Join. Because it's no longer in your sidebar, find it through Search or keep the link.
Your posts and comments stay in the feed, with No longer in this Space next to your name.
Nobody is notified when you leave, including the owners.
