Owners and moderators can take someone out of a Space, for example when they move to another team.
Before you start
You need to be an Owner or Moderator of the Space. Moderators can remove members and other moderators, but not owners.
Remove a person
Open the Space and select the member count in the Space header (for example 3 members). Settings opens on Members.
Select the ⋯ (Member actions) next to the person.
Select Remove from Space.
You'll see Member removed successfully, and they disappear from the list. You don't need to select Save Changes.
What happens next
In a private Space, they lose access straight away and see You don't have access to this page if they open it. To let them back in, add them again.
In a public Space, they can still find it and select Join to come back.
When you can't remove someone
The three-dot menu is greyed out in these cases. Hover over it to see why.
The Space's creator can never be removed.
Yourself. Ask an owner to change your role to member, then leave the Space.
An owner, if you're a moderator.
