A new post notifies every other member. Comments, replies, reactions, mentions and pins notify only the person they're about. Joining or leaving notifies nobody, and Space notifications never go by email.
Space notifications appear under the bell in the sidebar, and selecting one opens the Space or post it's about. They aren't sent by email or to the mobile app, and you're never notified about your own actions.

Resources, Path and Events
These go only to the Space's other owners and moderators, not to members.

Members aren't told when new learning is added, so check the Resources, Path and Events tabs now and then.
Good to know
If you've turned on Slack or Microsoft Teams notifications, Space notifications are sent there too.
If HowNow has turned off in-app notifications for your workspace, no Space notifications are sent.
