What Active, Invited and Deactivated mean

S
Written by Sunil Sharma

Everyone in Manage › People has one of three statuses, shown in the Status column.

The Status filter on the People page with Active and Invited ticked and Deactivated highlighted

The three statuses

  • Active: they've signed in at least once.

  • Invited: they've been added to your workspace but haven't signed in yet. They become Active the first time they sign in.

  • Deactivated: their account has been switched off. They can't sign in, but their learning history is kept and an Admin can reactivate them.

People who have been deleted have no status. They're removed from the list altogether.

Why someone might be missing from the list

When you open People from the sidebar, the list shows only Active and Invited people. For example, if a store manager left last month and searching for them finds nothing, they've probably been deactivated. Select the Status filter, tick Deactivated and search again.

Seats and pending invites

Active and Invited people both count towards Seats in Use. Deactivated people don't, so reactivating someone uses a seat again.

The Pending Invites card counts everyone who is still Invited, and underneath shows how many have been waiting more than 7 days. Select Resend on the card to send

their invites again.

Who sees statuses

Admins see everyone in the workspace. Managers see the same statuses, but only for the people they manage.
