See who has started and completed a piece of content

The Learning Activity page lists everyone enrolled on a piece of content and how far they've got.

Before you start

You need Admin, Manager or Contributor access. If you open the content from My Groups or My Team in Manage › Learning, you only see your own people. Authors, collaborators, verifiers and Admins see everyone. Contributors can only open the learner lists of content they created, collaborate on or verify.

Open the learner list

  1. In the sidebar, select Manage › Learning.

  2. Select the content's name. Its overview opens in a new browser tab.

  3. In Learning Activity, select View All Learners.

You'll see each person's status, progress and completion date. The Engagement Rate card is the share of people who have opened the content.

Find the people you need

  • To list only people who haven't finished, select Add filter › Progress. You can also filter by Reports To, Job Role, Groups, Teams, Tags or any of the dates.

  • To put the least progress first, choose the sort Progress: Low to High.

  • To see more, such as Reports To or Expiry Date, add columns with the columns icon.

See one person's detail

Select ... on their row, then View Details. A panel shows their progress on each part of the content, including assessment results such as "Passed • 83.3%", under Current Progress. Past Records holds earlier completions of content that has to be renewed.

View Details isn't offered for nuggets, or for content from a connected library.

Export the list

  1. Tick the people you want, or tick the box in the header to select the whole page.

  2. In the bar at the bottom, select Export CSV.

You'll get an email with a download link when the file is ready. Large lists take longer.

Note: Admins and Managers can export any learner list they can open.

Good to know

  • The list can include people who aren't assigned. Anyone who opened the content appears, so the count can be higher than Active Learners in Manage › Learning.

  • From the same page you can send reminders, mark learning as completed and message learners.
