A group access level controls what someone can do in one group, separately from their workspace access level.
For example: make a store's supervisor a Manager of their own store's group so they can add and remove its members, while they stay Read Only elsewhere.
Before you start
You need Admin access. Managers can see group access levels but can't change them.
Change the level
In the sidebar, select Manage › Groups and open the group.
Select View All Members. The Group Access Level column shows each person's current level.
Do one of the following:
For one person, select the … menu on their row, then Change Group Access Level.
For several people, tick them and select Change Group Access Level in the bar at the bottom.
Choose the new level. For one person, only levels up to their workspace access level are offered: a Contributor can be Contributor or Read Only, but not Manager.
4. Select Update Role.
You'll see "Group Access Level updated to level for name in group name", and the Group Access Level column changes straight away.
When you change several people at once
All levels are offered. If some people can't take the level you chose, a summary tells you how many will be updated and why the rest are left out. Select Update Role again to update the others.
People are left out if their workspace access level is below the level you chose, they're a workspace Admin, their group access level is Admin, or they're you.
Good to know
To give someone a higher level than their workspace access level allows, change their workspace access level first.
A group access level of Admin can't be changed here.
