Zapier links HowNow to thousands of other apps without code. For example, it can add new starters to HowNow from a form, or post in a chat channel when someone finishes a course.
Before you start
You need Admin access. Zapier isn't shown to anyone else.
Zapier must be enabled for your workspace. If it's under Available Connectors in Apps › Connectors, select Enable first.
You need a Zapier account.
Connect Zapier
In the sidebar, select your name, then Settings › Your Apps.
Under Available to connect, select Connect next to Zapier.
In Zapier, sign in and connect your HowNow account when asked.
Build your Zap, choosing HowNow as the trigger or action app.
Zapier then appears under Connected in Your Apps. Triggers only pick up things that happen after you connect.
Remember: Zaps make real changes as you. A person a Zap adds joins your workspace, and depending on the action, a group or job role name that doesn't exist yet may be created.

For example, when someone buys a course in your online shop, Zapier can add them to HowNow and assign the course.
Good to know
Each Admin connects separately. The connection belongs to you, not the whole workspace.
Disconnecting stops your Zaps. If you disconnect Zapier in Your Apps, or an Admin turns it off in Connectors, Zaps that use HowNow stop working.
People added by the shop-order action get Read Only access if they're new to your workspace.
