Check which Credly badges HowNow has imported and copy a badge's UUID, the ID Credly uses for the badge template. The UUID helps when two templates share a name, or when you need to find the same template in Credly.

Before you start

Find a badge

  1. In the sidebar, select Apps, then the Connectors tab.

  2. Under Enabled Connectors, select the Credly card. The panel lists your badges under Credly Badges.

  3. In Search using Badge Name or UUID, type part of the badge's name or its UUID.

  4. Select the badge to open its details.

  5. Select the copy icon next to UUID.

The UUID is copied to your clipboard. If you see We couldn't copy the UUID. Please copy it manually., select the UUID text and copy it yourself.

Good to know

  • A warning icon means the badge is retired. The badge was archived in Credly, so it's no longer on any course or pathway. Its window says This credly badge is no longer available. It stays listed because people may already have earned it.

  • No badges yet means the import hasn't finished, or your Credly account has no active badges. Badges appear after the next sync with Credly.

  • Changes in Credly aren't instant. A badge you add, rename or archive in Credly shows here once Credly tells HowNow about it.

Needs review (internal)

Written from code: Credly isn't connected in the test workspace and isn't listed in Apps › Connectors. Check: the panel and search labels, the badge window, the copy icon and its success message, the retired-badge icon, and how long a change in Credly takes to show here.
