It's as easy as pie to see all the skills that your team members have 🥧

Go to Dashboard > Skills. At the top of the page, there are four summary cards representing:

Skills

The total number of Skills with ratings on your Learning Space.

Skill Endorsements

The total number of endorsed Skills.

Average Skills per User

on your Learning Space.

Competent Skills

The no. of Skills with a rating of 3 and above on your Learning Space.

Note: The primary Skills summary card will give you the total number of unique Skills across your organisation, therefore will always be the card with the highest value. The Competent Skills summary card represents the number of unique Skills with Level 3, 4 or 5 ratings, so will never be more than that primary Skills summary card.

Adding custom Skills:

1. Add Skill > add your custom Skill(s) > click Add Skill.

Managing custom Skills:

From your list of Skills, you'll see the average Skill ratings for each, as well as the number of people who have the Skill. If you click on the three dots next to an individual Skill, you can...

  • Edit - the name of the Skill

  • Delete - the Skill permanently from your work space. You won't be able to delete any default HowNow Skills, e.g., "Account Management".

Selecting multiple Skills, will allow you to complete a Bulk Delete.

Export a full list of all your Skills or use our Filters and Columns to drill down into the data you want like Skill ratings, Job Roles, etc. and Export your own custom report!

Deep dive into an individual Skill:

Via a Skill's sub-page, you'll be able to see the rating for each individual User who holds that Skill. The data table will also show when it was last updated, and whether it has been endorsed by a Manager.

Note✨: As a Manager or Admin you can endorse team members' Skills from the Skills sub-page, without needing to be sent an Endorsement Request. Find out more in our article:

Export a full list of all your Users with this Skill or use our Filters and Columns selector to drill down into the data you want like, customising your reports, to see only the data you need.

Note : To enhance loading times across your organisation's learning space - giving you a greater user experience - we have removed the sorting option on a select few columns.
