You can open any certificate you've earned as a full-size image to save, print or send, and share Credly badges you've accepted. Other HowNow badges can't be downloaded or shared.

In My Profile › Achievements, open the certificate and select View to open it as an image you can save or print. Credly badges are shared via Credly itself.

Save a Certificate

  1. Select your initials or photo at the bottom of the sidebar, then select My Profile.

  2. In the Achievements section, select See Achievements.

  3. Select the certificate.

Select View.

A certificate's details with the View button

Note: Certificates are created in the background when you earn them, so View can take a minute to work for a new one.

  1. In the new tab, save or print the image from your browser, for example by right-clicking it.

The certificate shows your name, your job role, what it was awarded for, the date and the signatory.

Share a Credly badge

Before you start

Credly badges only appear if your organisation has connected Credly. If you don't see any, ask your admin.

  1. Open the email Credly sends when you earn the badge.

  2. Accept the badge on Credly. Until you do, it shows Pending in My Profile › Achievements.

  3. In My Profile › Achievements, select the share icon on the badge's card, or open the badge and select Share.

Credly opens in a new tab, where you can share the badge to LinkedIn and other sites. Only you can share your Credly badges: anyone else viewing your achievements sees them without a share option.

Note: If a badge says This credly badge is no longer available, your organisation has retired it on Credly. It stays in your list but can't be shared.
