Give a course badge or certificate to someone who didn't earn it automatically, for example someone who finished the course before you added the reward.
Before you start
You need to be the course's author or a collaborator. Admins who don't own the course don't see Assign Reward.
It works for course badges and certificates only. Pathway rewards and Credly badges can't be given manually.
You can only choose people who are assigned to the course and don't have the reward yet. To include someone else, assign the course to them first.
Give the reward
In the sidebar, select Manage › Learning and select the course's name.
In the Rewards section of the overview, select View All Rewards.
Hover over the reward, select ... and choose Assign Reward.
Tick the people you want, then select Assign Reward.
In the confirmation, select Assign Reward again.
Warning
The people you choose get the reward straight away and are told about it. You can't take it back from here.
A message confirms it, for example "Queue Calm Champion" assigned to 1 person. The reward appears on their My Profile › Achievements page, and they're added to the reward's Achievers list.
Good to know
Assign Reward disappears from the menu once everyone assigned to the course has the reward.
You can also give rewards from the course builder: go to Release & Deadline and select Assign Reward under Rewards.
