Ask a Guru questions, talk through a problem at work, or ask it to coach you on its topic. It answers from the knowledge its creator added, framed around your job role where that helps.
You can pick a preset/suggested question or prompt, or, type your own question and press Enter. Messages can be up to 2,000 words.
Chat with a Guru
In the sidebar, expand Gurus and select the Guru.
Select one of the two suggested starters the Guru offers on your first visit, or type your own message in the box at the bottom.
Press Enter to send. To add a new line without sending, press Shift+Enter.
Note: Messages can be up to 2,000 words, and pasted text beyond that is cut off. A counter shows the words you have left, turning orange under 200 and red near the limit.
To carry on, select one of the next steps the Guru offers under its answer, such as a deep dive, a role-play, a quiz or a follow-up question, or type a reply.
Your conversation stays in the Guru, so you can pick it up next time you open it.
Good to know
There's no attach-file button. Paste the text you want to discuss into your message instead.
When the box is empty, the send button becomes a microphone button that starts voice mode.
Longer messages are safety-checked. Messages over 100 characters are checked for unsafe or manipulative content. If one is flagged, the Guru replies "I am sorry, but I cannot help you with that."
Guru can make mistakes. Check anything important against your organisation's own policies.
