See a Group's assigned learning and progress

A group's Assigned Learning page shows how much of the group's learning its members have completed, so you can spot lagging items and who hasn't finished them.

Before you start

You need Admin access, or Manager access and the Manager role in the group. Being a member of a group isn't enough to see its progress.

See everything assigned to the group

  1. In the sidebar, select Manage › Groups and select the group.

  2. Under Assigned Learning, select View All Learning.

Average Completion is the average completion rate across all the group's items, with how many are below 100%. If any are, select Review to put the least-completed items first. Each row shows the item's Assigned Date, Completion Rate (the share of members who've completed it) and whether it's Mandatory.

See who has finished one item

Select the three-dot menu on the item's row, then View Details.

A group's Assigned Learning page with an item's menu open and View Details highlighted

The item's Learning Activity opens for this group's members only, with each person's status, progress and completion date.

To narrow the list, select Add filter › Progress, Assignment Status, Reports To, Job Role, Tags or a date. Select the three-dot menu on a member's row to message them, remind them or mark the item as completed for them.

Other actions on an item

Select the three-dot menu on the item's row:

  • Send Reminder: emails every member who hasn't finished the item, after you confirm. Members who've already been reminded about it today are skipped. It only appears while someone still has the item to finish.

  • Unassign from Group: removes the item from the group. Only the item's author or a collaborator can do this.

Remember❗: After you unassign an item, future members won't get it through the group, and current members may lose access. Their progress is kept.

Good to know

  • People who join the group later get its learning automatically.

  • To export the list, tick items and select Export CSV. You'll get an email with a download link when the file is ready.
