A nugget is a single page of learning, such as a quick guide or a video. Use one when a full course would be too much.
Before you start
You need Admin, Manager or Contributor access. Read Only users don't see the + (Create) button.
Create and publish the nugget
Select + at the top of the sidebar, then Create a Nugget. The editor opens in a new tab.
Note: The nugget is saved as a draft called Nugget Name straight away. If you close the tab, find it in Manage › Content under Drafts.
Select the pencil next to Nugget Name, type a name (up to 150 characters) and press Enter.
Add your content with the row of icons, for example Text, Video or File. Your work saves as you go.
Select Settings and add a Short Description (up to 150 characters). It appears on the nugget's card.
Select the pencil on the Preview card, then upload an image or pick one from the gallery.
Check Verifier and Verification interval. They start as you and 1 Month, so you're reminded to review the nugget monthly. Choose a longer interval for content that rarely changes.
Under Share with People or Group, select people or groups, then select Apply. Publish appears once you've applied a share.
Note: If you turn on Send an e-mail notification to all assigned users, everyone you share the nugget with gets an email when you publish.
Under Content Visibility, choose where the nugget can be found. Visible Everywhere (the default) lets anyone find it; Only with Link keeps it to the people you share it with, but it then won't appear in My Content when someone builds a pathway.
Select Publish.
You'll see Your Nugget has been published!, and the nugget appears at the top of Manage › Content.
Good to know
Sharing works as a rule: people who join a group later get the nugget too.
Until you share the nugget, you can only Save Draft.
Link only appears while the nugget is empty, so add a link first if you need one.
Only you and any Collaborators you add can edit the nugget later.
