Add your workspace's courses and nuggets to a Guru so its answers reflect what your organisation already teaches.
Before you start
You can only change the knowledge base of a Guru you created. See Create a Guru.
If you don't see HowNow+, HBR or From the Web, your workspace doesn't have that source.
Add content
Open your Guru in the editor. For a published Guru, expand Gurus in the sidebar, select it, then select ⋮ › Edit Guru.
On the Knowledge Base card, select Configure.
On the My Content tab, if your workspace has more than one source, pick one from the list next to the search box:
HowNow: your workspace's own courses and nuggets.
HowNow+: partner courses.
HBR: Harvard Business Review content.
From the Web: content from outside sources connected to your workspace.
Type in Search... to find a course or nugget from that source, or pick from the suggestions.
Select + on each card you want to add.
The item appears under Content Added with a progress message, ending in Your Guru just got smarter. once the Guru can use it. This usually takes under a minute; very long courses can take a few minutes.
Note
On a published Guru, new content only reaches learners when you select Save Changes. If you close or refresh the editor first, your additions are discarded. See Edit a published Guru.
What can be added
Courses and nuggets only. Pathways, live classes, webinars, events, SCORM packages, third-party products and paid courses aren't offered.
From a course, the Guru reads text lessons, files, embeds and links, plus uploaded or linked video and audio, which are transcribed first.
Suggestions are matched to the Guru's skills and Context and Purpose. If you see No results found, search instead: it covers every eligible item.
Good to know
If the original is deleted or unpublished, you get an email and an in-app notification ("Content deleted from…" or "Content removed from…") so you can add a replacement.
Learners see the course in sources. When a deep dive uses it, learners can open it if they have access. See How Guru shows the sources it used.
