Unpublish content that's out of date but might come back, such as a seasonal course. Delete it when you'll never need it again. Both work the same way for courses, nuggets, sessions and pathways.

Unpublish content
In the sidebar, select Manage › Content and find the item.
Select ... at the end of its row, then More › Unpublish.
In Unpublish Content?, select Unpublish.
Warning
If the item is a step in a pathway or is in a Space, it's removed from them, and the pathway's other creators get a notification that it "has been updated". Publishing the item again doesn't put it back.
The status changes to Unpublished. To bring it back, publish it again.
Delete content
In the sidebar, select Manage › Content and find the item.
Select ... at the end of its row, then More › Delete.
In Delete Content?, select Delete.
Warning
Deleting can't be undone, and the item is removed from everyone's active assignments.
The item disappears from the list.
Good to know
Unpublishing cancels any deadline reminders that were due to go out.
If a Guru uses the content to answer questions, the Guru's creator is told when you unpublish or delete it.
To unpublish or delete several items at once, see Update many content items at once.
If Delete is missing, see Delete isn't available for content I collaborate on.
