Let AI suggest resources for a Space

S
Written by Sunil Sharma

Curate with AI finds learning that matches a Space's topics and adds it to the Resources tab for you, so the shelf keeps growing without you picking every item.

Before you start

  • You need to be an owner or moderator of the Space.

  • Your workspace must have AI curation turned on. If the Curate with AI switch is greyed out, it's off for your workspace, so ask your admin.

Switch on Curate with AI

  1. Open the Space from Spaces in the sidebar, then select the settings (cog) icon.

  2. Select Smart Features, then switch on Curate with AI.

  3. Under Topics, type a topic and press Enter. Repeat for each topic, up to 10. Use specific phrases your members would search for, for example store opening and handling complaints rather than retail.

  4. Under Sources, choose where suggestions can come from: All Sources, your workspace's own content (shown under your workspace name), HowNow+, or another content library your workspace has connected.

  5. Select Save Changes.

Note: You need at least one topic and one source. If either is empty when you save, you'll see Topic preferences are essential to curate the Space or Content Source preferences are essential to curate the Space.

Suggestions appear on the Resources tab as soon as you save, after any items you added yourself. Each suggestion has a sparkle icon in the top-left corner of its image. Items you added have no icon, and the icon only shows on the Resources tab.

Good to know

  • Some libraries may be missing from Sources. If your workspace limits external content libraries to admins, owners and moderators who aren't admins don't see those libraries.

  • Suggestions only match what your workspace can access.

  • To stop suggestions, switch off Curate with AI and select Save Changes.
