Find someone and view their profile

Written by Sunil Sharma

A person's profile brings together their assigned learning, mandatory training, skills, budget requests and achievements, for example before a one-to-one.

Before you start

You need Admin or Manager access. Admins can open anyone. Managers can open only the people they manage.

Find the person

  1. In the sidebar, select Manage › People.

  2. Search for part of their name or email address.

  3. If they don't appear, select Status and tick Deactivated. The list shows only Active and Invited people until you do.

Open their profile

  1. On the person's row, select the three-dot menu, then More › View Profile. (On your own row, View Profile is in the first menu.) The profile opens in a new browser tab.

The row menu on the People page with More open and View Profile highlighted

  2. To see a full list, select the button on that panel: View All Learning, View Mandatory, View Skills, View All Requests or See Achievements.

On a full-list page, select the arrow next to the page name in the breadcrumb (for example Learning) to switch to another section. On the profile page, select the arrow next to the person's name to switch to someone else.

Good to know

  • Budgets and Requests appears only if your workspace uses budgets.

  • From the profile, the Actions menu lets you assign learning, log learning, add skills, add them to groups, or deactivate them.

  • You can open a deactivated person's profile to see their history, but most actions are unavailable until they're reactivated.
