Check someone's mandatory training

S
Written by Sunil Sharma

A person's Mandatory page lists only the learning they must complete, so you can check compliance without the rest of their assigned learning getting in the way.

Before you start

You need Admin or Manager access. Admins can open anyone. Managers can only open the people they manage.

Open someone's Mandatory page

  1. In the sidebar, select Manage › People and find the person.

  2. Select ... on their row, then More › View Profile. Their profile opens in a new browser tab.

  3. Under Mandatory, select View Mandatory.

If you're already on their Learning page, select the arrow next to Learning at the top of the page and choose Mandatory.

See what's outstanding

  • Mandatory Rate shows the share of their mandatory items they've completed. Select View Incomplete to list only what they haven't finished.

  • Overdue Training shows how many mandatory items are past their due date. Select View to list them.

The list is sorted by Attention needed, so unfinished and overdue items come first. To check renewals, select Add filter › Expiry Date, or sort by Expiry Date: Soonest first.

Follow up on an item

Select the three-dot menu on the item's row. Depending on the item and your access, you'll see:

  • Send Reminder: emails the person about that item. You can remind them about each item once a day.

  • Mark as Completed: records a completion for them, for example after a classroom session.

  • View Details: shows their progress on each part of the item.

Good to know

  • Content is mandatory when its creator sets it as Mandatory. It then appears here for everyone it's assigned to, however they were assigned it.

  • To see how an item reached them, for example through a group, add the Access Via column with the columns icon.

  • To export the list, tick items and select Export CSV. You'll get an email with a download link when the file is ready.
