See who has a skill, how they compare with their target level, and which job roles require it.
Before you start
You need Admin access.
Open the skill's page
In the sidebar, select Manage › Skills.
Select the skill's name. Its page opens in a new browser tab.
The page shows the description, a People section (for example "3 people have this skill assigned. 1 is proficient.") and a Job Roles section with each role that needs the skill and its target level.
Proficient means the person is at or above their target level.
Select View All People or View All Job Roles for the full lists.
Tip: For a quick look without leaving the list, select the count in the People or Focused Skill column on Manage › Skills.
What the People page shows
Column or card | What it means |
Required by Role | How many people need this skill for their job role. |
Skill Readiness | How many people have met or exceeded their target level. |
Skill Level | The person's current level, from their reviews. No Rating means nobody has rated it yet. |
Target Level | The level they're aiming for. You can change it. |
Status | How their level compares with the target, for example Met. |
Focused Skill | Whether it's one of their focus skills. |
Reviews | How many reviews they have. Select the count to see who reviewed them and at what level. |
Source | Where the skill came from, for example Assigned by Admin. A skill that comes from someone's job role can't be removed from them directly. |
To narrow the list, use the filter button for Current Level, Status, Source or Last Updated On. To export people, tick them and select Export CSV; the file is emailed to you.
