Rate someone's level on a skill without waiting for them to ask. Your review feeds into their skill level straight away.
Before you start
You need Admin access.
The person must already have the skill on their Profile.
Add a review
In the sidebar, select Manage › Skills, then select the skill's name. The skill opens in a new browser tab.
Under People, select View All People.
On the person's row, select ⋯, then Add Review. If they have no reviews yet, you can also select Add Review in the Reviews column.
Select the level that matches what you've seen. Level 1 is selected to start with, so always choose deliberately. Their Target Level shows at the top for comparison.
Select Submit Review.
Their Skill Level, Status (for example Gap if they're below target) and Reviews count update in the list.
Note: The person gets a notification: "Review for received from."
If it's one of their focus skills, they also get one saying their focus skill was updated.
Change your review
Select three-dot menu, then Update Review, on the same row. Your new level replaces your earlier one; you only ever have one review per person and skill. The person is notified again only if the level changes.
Good to know
Your review is listed as a Manager review, whether or not you're the person's line manager. Select the Reviews count to see every self, peer and manager review.
A review of yourself counts as a self review, not a manager review.
Reviews are combined into the person's level.
