How to manage Notifications from your Profile

Choose which types of email, Slack and Ms Teams notifications you receive, and how often.

Getting too many email notifications? Maybe you forgot to re-activate them? How about notifications from Slack or Ms Teams? Don't worry, you can easily control the frequency of these, directly from your Profile!

Note✨: Users won't have control over, specific Notifications, for example: turning off notifications for Courses, but keeping active those for Pathways.

  1. Go to My Profile

  2. Click the Settings tab

  3. Toggle your email settings, under the Notifications section.

  4. Click Save to confirm the changes

The options you'll be able to select and save, are as follows:

How often would you like to receive an email roundup of learning recommendations?

Daily - at the equivalent of 11pm UK time. Dependent on your organisation's User size, this could be scheduled to send out in batches, thus may not be received by all Users exactly at 11PM.

Weekly - also at the equivalent of 11pm UK time, with email timing dependent on your organisation's User size.

Never - no email will be sent out, until this is changed.

Would you like to receive email notifications?

Yes - this will send out email notifications in your inbox, unless otherwise stated by your organisation's work space owner.

No - you won't receive email notifications.

Note✨: Admins/Managers will still be able to receive any agreed upon (with your CSM) reporting data as emails and Learning Budget requests, along with newly invited Users still receiving the Welcome email and the password reset email being sent also.

Would you like to receive notifications on Slack?

Yes - this will send out notifications to Slack. these are the same as those sent via the Web app.

No - no notifications will be received via Slack.

Would you like to receive notifications on MS Teams?

Yes - this will send out notifications to MS Teams. these are the same as those sent via the Web app.

No - no notifications will be received via MS Teams

Note✨: For both Slack and MS Teams, this option will only appear, if they have been integrated to the Users Profile.

Would you like to receive smart nudges?

Yes - this will keep Smart Nudges activated, to keep you informed about engagement.

No - this will prevent Smart Nudges from being sent to you. Engagement can still be tracked and calculated, via the Dashboard's insights.

Note✨: Smart Nudges will only appear if the User is an Author or Collaborator for a content item.
