See an overview of a piece of content

Written by Sunil Sharma

A content overview shows how one piece of learning is going: how many people are enrolled, how many have finished, and how its assessments, sessions and rewards are being used.

Before you start

You need Admin, Manager or Contributor access. You can open the overview of anything listed for you in Manage › Learning.

Open the overview

  1. In the sidebar, select Manage › Learning.

  2. Find the item and select its name, or select ... › View Learning Details.

The overview opens in a new browser tab, with the item's key details, such as whether it's Mandatory, on the left.

The overview of a course, with its details on the left and the Learning Activity and Assessments sections on the right

Read the sections

Each section shows the first few rows and links to the full list:

  • Learning Activity: a sentence such as "12 learners are enrolled, with 8 completed", then the learners. Select View All Learners to filter, follow up or export.

  • Assessments: each assessment's markers, passmark and retakes. Select View All Assessments to see submissions.

  • Sessions: for events, live classes and webinars, the bookings for each session. Select View All Sessions to manage them.

  • Rewards: badges and certificates attached to the content, what earns each one (for example, Lesson Completion) and how many people have it. Select View All Rewards to see who.

A section only appears when it applies. A nugget shows only Learning Activity, and a course without an assessment has no Assessments section.

Good to know

  • The learners you see depend on how you got there. If you opened the item from My Groups or My Team, the overview only counts your people, for example "3 learners in the groups you manage are enrolled".

  • Assign Learners at the top right only appears for the content's author, collaborators and Admins.

  • To jump to another item, select the arrow next to its name at the top of the page.
