Bulk actions change many items at once, for example to make a set of compliance courses mandatory before an audit.
Run a bulk action
In the sidebar, select Manage › Content. Search and filter to the items you want. See Find, filter and export your content list.
Tick the items. To select the whole page, tick the box in the header row.
Check the count in the bar at the bottom. Items you ticked before changing your search stay selected, even off screen.
Choose an action from the bar. Change Visibility, Verify Content, Export CSV and Delete Content are under More Actions.
Confirm the action:
Make Mandatory and Verify Content run as soon as you select them, with no confirmation.
Unpublish: select Unpublish in Unpublish Content?
Change Visibility: choose an option under Visibility, then select Apply.
Delete Content: type DELETE CONTENT, then select Delete Content.
Warning
Bulk changes reach learners straight away, and Delete Content can't be undone.
You'll see a confirmation message. Up to 25 items update straight away. Larger batches run in the background, and you get a notification when they finish.

Items you can't change are skipped. If fewer items changed than you expected, see A bulk action only updated some of my selected items.
Note
Unpublish Content? counts every selected item, including ones that will be skipped. As an Admin, "Unpublish 2 items?" can still unpublish only one if the other isn't yours.
