Delete a Guru when it's no longer needed, or to throw away a draft.

Before you start

  • Only the Guru's creator can delete it.

Delete a Guru

  1. Open the Guru in the editor:

    • Draft: open the editor tab or link you saved. See I can't find my draft Guru.

    • Published: in the sidebar, expand Gurus, select your Guru, then select ⋮ › Edit Guru.

  2. Select the three-dot menu at the top right of the editor, then Delete Guru. It's only in the editor's menu, not on the Guru's chat page.

The editor's ⋮ menu with Delete Guru highlighted

  3. In Delete This Guru?, select Yes, Delete.

You're taken to Manage › Content, and the Guru no longer appears in the sidebar. Anyone who opens the Guru's link is taken to Home.

Good to know

  • Deleting a published Guru frees a place in your workspace's Guru limit, so you can publish another.

  • To stop some people using a Guru, change who's assigned instead of deleting it.

  • To clear your own chat without deleting the Guru, use Clear Chat.
